This natural gas organisation operates throughout Australia and delivers more than 50% of the nation’s gas usage. Due to the growth of Australia’s gas market this organisation is well positioned to expand in the future. With the organisation recognising that their most important asset is the people who work for them, they are looking to expand their team.

An opportunity has arisen for a Pipeline Technician/ Instrumentation Technician to join this hard working team. You will assume the responsibilities of a Technician accountable to organise and deliver safe and efficient asset operation and maintenance. Working on a on-call roster you will respond to breakdown situations, organise other resources if necessary and repair faults so that the integrity of assets are not compromised. You will also be involved in installation, commissioning, calibration, fault finding on pipeline equipment.

As a successful applicant you will have a minimum instrument trade qualification along with a WA "A" Grade electrical licence and an "C" and "HR" class drivers licence. Experience within the hydrocarbon or petrochemical industry, as well as exposure to working in hazardous areas would also be an advantage. Previous experience with similar technical responsibilities is required, including gas compressors. Knowledge of flow computers and general PC skills is also required.
